2024 — 230RAE, installation for N8 architecture,  Raeren (BE)

A whole facet of my art is rooted in architecture. This summer, as part of my collaboration with the Liège-based architecture studio @n8_architecture, we carried out a first integration of art into the transitory architecture of a construction site. As a result of a shared desire to explore the possible interactions between art and built space, our first choice was ‘230RAE’, a project for the requalification of an old
agricultural mill. My intervention focuses on the imposing front door of the old building. In line with my previous work, I chose 8 polycarbonate panels as a medium, for being the interface between internal and external space. The work is a tribute to a number of Belgian F1 drivers.
